The first leg of the voyage to the Atlantis 2 seamount takes the Marie Tharp from Annapolis to Woods Hole on Cape Cod. It's a shakedown trip where the crew get to know each other and the boat. For me, as the 1st Mate, it has been a great challenge to not only sail a much bigger boat but also to join a group of people. So far so good!
