Any idea why this red snapper did that?

This Red Snapper must be feeling some itch on its body so it had to scratch it against the ocean floor. Scratching typically gets rid of dead skin, parasites, and other irritants. Many different types of parasites live in fish, but there aren't many ways to get rid of them due to their surroundings. Does anyone know their other way to remove parasites?
