De volta ao Rio de Janeiro .. e fomos recebidos pelos golfinhos dessa vez ... foi maravilhoso, uma sensação única, e o melhor boas vindas de todos !!! Voltamos para o Rio pois queríamos passar o réveillon na praia de Copacabana, um clássico, foi bem bacana, mas o réveillon perdeu um pouco a "graça" para nós, pois aprendemos a viver cada dia como se fosse o único. E realizar tudo que temos vontade sempre !!! Bom mas além do réveillon em Copa, queríamos passear um pouco mais pelo Rio e encontrar com pessoas que nos assiste e não encontramos na vez passada ... Fomos no Aqua Rio junto com o Joabe, um passeio incrível !!! Mas nós particularmente achamos caro a entrada para o aquário : R$80,00 !!! Sorte que nosso amigo é da Marinha e tem um desconto .. E logico que ele como um bom oficial da Marinha nos levou ao Espaço Cultural da Marinha .... esse passeio confesso que foi ainda mais legal que o Aquário e mais barato ... o espaço é uma especie de "museu", com Submarino, Contratorpedeiro e Helicóptero !!! Um megaaaa passeio... e melhor ainda com o Joabe que entende tudo e nos deu uma mega aula !!! E logico que nao podia faltar comida, Google e CHUVA..... dalhe Chuvaaaa pra todos ... So I am a bit slow from the holidays still. I like to post vidoes by Sunday evening each week and here it is after 10pm my time and I am just starting the upload :). This week I show how I am saving on some of the labor from the boat yard and wokring in conjunction with their team to understand the work to be done and determine what I can do versus them. Anything I can do rather than the yard saves their hourly rate, so some jobs just make sense for me to prep and do the initial or completing steps for. This week we go over that prep work to save money. Those are removing of trim, removing deck fills, removing stanchions and deck hardware and other minor items. You need to sacrifice comfort, consistency, safety, time with family, and often your career but it is possible. - Why don't you have 10x more subscribers? My channel isn't that old, many of the bigger channels you can compare mine to started putting out videos a couple years before I began. I could always use your help sharing my videos, spreading the word, and connecting with cross promotional opportunities. Editing and travelling tend to take up all my time. - Where are you now? Staying at Browns Marina in Alice Town ended up being a great place to spend the night. We left around 11AM and began our journey towards The Great Bahama Bank. Our plan was to sail all night crossing the 130 miles of calm ocean and arriving near Rum Cay and Chub Cay by morning. This was our first official overnight sail! While in Oregon we fell in love with sailing at night, but never went anywhere or spent a full night out. While crossing The Great Bahama Banks, we made "sailboat pizza" for dinner which was really tasty! It was too dark to film anything once it got dark, but we were very impressed by how bright the stars shone! The sailing was fantastic with us sailing at about 5-6 knots all night! We took turns sleeping for a few hrs at a time which worked out great! We slept at a tiny Island called Rum Cay for a few hrs before heading further East to Chub Cay and Bird Cay where we decided to spend the night.
