I watched tons of videos about boats and sailing on youtube and got myself registered with dozen boat related forums and groups on a facebook... In May 2020 I came across a facebook post. Sergey was looking for a crew to bring his boat to the Caribbean. I travelled 1300 km from Montreal to Halifax to join him on his boat. The trip was cancelled two months later for legitimate reasons.  Since I made my way to Nova Scotia I decided to discover this beatiful province before going back to Montreal I have not given up on my dream of sailing. Because of this Corona virus situation in the world....  It is just put on hold... En unos 10 días, incluso menos os podéis empapar de este paraíso Caribeño, lleno de Tortugas que te dejan nadar junto ellas, en este parque natural y reserva de tortugas. Es el único sitio donde se han dejado tocar, los demás sitios tienen miedo y se alejan. Tranquilos tiburones de arrecife que dormitan entre las gritas de las piedras que conforman los Reef.

Like everything else, kayaks break! I know, I know, yours is the awesomest mostest solid of all kayaks and they all bow to kiss it's ...err.. yeah, nvm.. This video answers the question "How do you repair a cracked kayak?".. So anyway, yeah, this kayak cracked while it's previous owner was sight fishing. Our route onboard Amira Liveaboard will concentrate on the more remote regions of southern Raja Ampat known as Misool. On offer here is a vast range of snorkeling sites from coral covered walls, reef flats, pinnacles, and placid lagoons which all play host to a wealth of marine life. Fields of gorgonian fans can be seen in the shallows as they grow up the island walls, whilst colorful hard coral gardens rise to the surface - this really is some of the finest reef snorkeling you are likely to see anywhere in the world. Not only this - the reefs here are in superb condition. Expect fish life in abundance, from colorful reef-dwelling species to larger pelagic species like schooling batfish and barracuda. Mantas are frequently seen feeding on the surface and hovering above their favorite cleaning station, and it's not uncommon to see whales passing by from the liveaboard at certain times of the year.

Paulo asked about engine access, in a comment to Snow Gum’s launching video. In this video I’ve removed only four of the eight or so hatches/doors/etc that allow good access to the engine. Importantly, this good access doesn’t take away from the engine’s sound insulation scheme, which works well. I remember back in 2018 visiting the owners of a new Garcia Exploration 45, listening to the engine noise and being impressed with how well it was suppressed. That memory was a significant factor in our choice of this yacht. A noisy engine can really take away from the enjoyment of sailing. Regards, Rick. p.s. speaking of noise, the buzzing noise you can hear in the background is our fuel polisher. The fuel in the port side tank is getting a scrub at the moment.
