A couple of weeks ago I visited the Logica shipyard in Viareggio. Logica have built and launched a 147' super yacht with a distinctive design and some great features.

I visited the Esen shipyard in Bodrum, Turkey, and was impressed to find a young and dynamic team building a beautifully designed 50m single masted sloop. Project TROY promises to become an iconic sailing yacht for this decade, and I hope to follow her build and delivery closely.

One of the most spectacular yachts on display at the Miami Boat Show this year was undoubtedly "USHER". Day 3 of the Miami Boat Show and I spent some time looking at the Austin Parker stand. Beautifully constructed picnic boats built in Italy and well worth a look at.

The Columbus 40S Hybrid Superyacht is built by the Palumbo shipyard in Italy. Palumbo use a hybrid propulsion system that is tried and tested in shipbuilding to bring great range and solid performance to this very stylish Italian superyacht.

Now the first unit has been sold, and a second unit is being built in a state of the art shipyard in Ancona, Italy.
