Filming the promo video for "IZUMI", the Palmer Johnson 120 super yacht, was hard work but a lot of fun. I have been covering the WIDER 150 since her inception just over 3 years ago. One of the most appealing features of this yacht is her ability to house a 32' tender inside the lazarette, with the custom built WIDER 32' launching and returning without the use of a crane. Now that the yacht is completed, this useful and innovative feature is being sea trialled off the coast of Ancona, Italy. Cantieri di Pisa developed a reputation for constructing some of the finest production super yachts ever to be built in Italy. Following some tumultuous years under Baglietto Group the yacht builder has now emerged stronger than ever and with some outstanding opportunities for sale. I returned to Bodrum to see the progress being made on the 155' single masted sloop "TROY". This time I found many of the hydraulic systems had been fitted and tested, but I was also pleasantly surprised to meet Jesper Bank, two time Olympic gold medal winner and owner of Elvstrom Sails.

The Columbus Liberty 33m and 38m are so new to the market they are not even built yet.
