Major Flooding, Houseboat Life 5 days of rain Puts tennessee into a flood watch water's rising up to 8 inches in a couple of hours... In. Some places, this could be a problem. However, where I live, it's no big deal. In fact, it's something I look forward too. I can get my boat way up into a bunch of little creeks.
