We're mixing up a Rum Old Fashioned! ??? This twist on a classic combines rich rum, aromatic bitters, and a touch of sweetness. Watch the magic unfold!?? Cheers!! Drink responsibly!
Ingredients
2 oz dark rum
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 dash Peychaud's Bitters
1-2 tsp sugar/a sugar cube
Ice
Steps
Add the sugar cube/granulated sugar and bitters to a rocks glass.
Muddle the mix until the sugar dissolves.
Add rum then stir for around 60 seconds.
Add ice then stir for another 60 seconds
Cut a piece of orange peel about the size of your thumb (be careful not to bend it). Hold the piece of orange peel over the glass, warm it with a match flame, then bend it to release some oil into the drink ??
Add the orange peel to the drink and serve.
