The Minch is an extremely unpredictable sea area off the Western coast of Scotland, known for its rapidly changing weather and choppy waters. This fascinating stretch of ocean is not only a test of seamanship but also a breathtaking experience for those who dare to navigate its depths. However, the lure of seeing the stunning Outer Hebrides, with their pristine beaches and rugged landscapes, was strong enough to motivate us to take the risk. So, we set sail across this fickle piece of water, filled with both excitement and a hint of apprehension, hoping for the best and ready to embrace whatever challenges this majestic sea might throw our way. With the wind in our sails and the horizon calling, we embarked on this unforgettable journey, eager to explore the beauty that awaited us on the other side.

Last year Trinidad, this year Saint Martin! A new experience for us, we're celebrating Carnival 2025 on the French side of St Martin, an island in the northern windward islands of the Caribbean. The small but vibrant parade showed a passion for the spirit of Carnival with each troupe performing for the crowd and showing of their skills. There was dancing, drumming, moko jumbies and whip cracking, with a positive vibe as visitors and locals alike shared in the day. Being about to experience different cultures and events around the world is one of the highlights of living on a boat! https://www.travelsketchsailing.com/ ? Check out the website for more info on us, the places we go and products we use ? After backpacking Asia, road tripping Europe and doing a bit of van life, we're now exploring the world aboard our Leopard 45 catamaran. ? Music from Artlist ? Another day another project?doors need to be cleaned with Oxalic Acid, rinsed and remounted. We removed the doors and hinges to start. Cleaned the hinges with vinegar water mixture, coated the doors on all sides with an oxalic acid water mixture and let sit to do its job. A bit of scrubbing for difficult spots then a good rinse with water. Allow to dry before remounting the doors for the night. Quick and easy project for the bright work. @sailingeriskay
