This Gopher Snake was just chilling out, sunning himself on the trail. I wanted to get him off the trail so mountain bikers didn?t run over him. It pretended it was a rattlesnake by rattling its tail and striking at me. I got it off the trail safely. It would?ve gotten run over if I didn?t get it off the trail. I feel bad that I made it strike at me, but I?m happy that I got off the trail. ??
