This crescent moon-shaped tiny island is located off Carriacou, an island in the Grenadines. There's nothing on it but white sand, luscious palm trees, colorful rocks, and hermit crabs! Sandy Island has been a favorite of ours for years. Every morning, Simon and I dinghy to the island, walk the beach seven times (to close my iPhone fitness circle), and then wade in the perfect cooling sea waters. During our walk, I must say 100 times, 'Oh my gosh, it is so beautiful here!' After anchoring at Brick Hill near Cumberland Island, we took about a 4 mile dinghy ride to the Plum Orchard docks. Once there, we hiked across the island to the most amazing beach with literally only 2 other people (way far away). We saw lots of birds, armadillos, a baby tortoise, and of course wild horses. We ?? this island/National Park.
