The marina takes on a different persona when the sun stays low and the cold winds start to blow. I went to check on "Moments in Time" during the winter solstice. The boats on the hard were whistling in the wind, the sounds of laughter and tinking of drinks from the pool area had long departed, droning of harbor traffic remained eerily silent, and the lapping of waves had become more pronounced. I watched the sun reached its zenith over Moments in Time as shared in the last frames of the video. It was cold so I did not linger long. Feel free to comment and let us know your thoughts. We just completed our biggest boat refit ever. We removed our old Yanmar engines and replaced them with new Nanni N4.50s. We did all the work ourselves while we were still in the water, fibreglassing new engine beds and then aligning the prop shafts before connecting the electronics up to the helm. We had a bit of a scare in our first sea trial when one engine suddenly died but it's nothing we can't overcome so join us on the journey as we figure it out and get back to sailing to remote islands again.
