We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Meet Kate, one of our crew members here at Sail San Diego! Kate has been on our crew for almost a year now & is one of the friendly faces you’ll meet upon arrival at our sailing lounge & retail shop before setting sail. Kate is a mom of three, 2 of which were twins born on Halloween! 🎃 🎃 She’s an incredible addition to our crew and loves any chance she's able to hop on board a sail. ⛵️ When asked what her favorite thing about sailing is? Her response: Feeling the warmth of the sun 🌞 and just being able to disconnect for 3 hours while out on the water. 🌊🌊
