We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Where should we go or what should we try next? We've been in Trinidad a while but hadn't tried a huge selection of local food, so when a Trini friend invited us to go to the Queen's Park Savannah Food Strip in Port of Spain of course we said yes! It was a fun way to try a huge selection of dishes, including Goat Geera, Chicken Roti, Pig Tails and Pie. There is one thing that I’ve always leaned on when it came to achieving anything I’ve ever wanted out of this life. Over and over again, all throughout my life, if there is something that I’ve wanted to do, I have manifested it in my mind. I’ve been relentless in my positive thoughts and my ability to repel the negativity and doubt of others. Here’s my thought process…if there is something out there that I want to do, I ask my self one question… “has anyone else ever done that?” If the answer is yes, then I know that I can too.
