We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Hvar Old Town - this bustling town has the largest Town Square in all of Dalmatia and features a maze of cobbled alleyways, narrow streets, and authentic Dalmatian restaurants. The Spanjola Fortress towers over the town of Hvar and provides impressive views. 5. Split Old Town - Diocletian's Palace forms the basis of the Old Town in Split, and was built some 1,700 years ago between the 3rd and 4th Centuries. As one of the best-preserved examples of Roman architecture, Diocletian's Palace is a must for exploring Croatian old-world charm. 6. Korcula Old Town - Korcula's fortified Old Town features bell towers, turrets, winding streets, and an eclectic mix of restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops. As the rumoured birthplace of Marco Polo, Korcula Old Town has a mysterious and energetic vibe.
