With the tank repaired and the rain ceased we went in search of some fresh drinking water. Hiking up hills and rough terrain we find a suitable spring. With the help of some of the village kids, we do multiple trips to carry the water back to the kayak. Undoubtedly overloaded with 70L of water per trip and windy wavy seas, we just make it back to the boat before the kayak is completely under. A little test-fire of the Cubic Mini Grizzly. The stove is mostly installed. I need to finish the ceiling trim and the heat shields behind the chimney. But, a quick fire during happy hour didn't hurt anything. What a difference this stove makes to the comfort of a sailboat! Wow. I am really looking forward to getting it going in earnest?and the timing is perfect as the temps are going to be minus double-digits next week. ?
