A weekend of homestead projects and tackling the rotting doors at the church. Oh... and Jenee' wound up in the hospital for half a day but is fine.

We left you all for two weeks because we didn't have enough content the first weekend and then had a lot the following... so enjoy this extra-long update which includes a lot of boat work with Todd as he tries to sort the engine out. Pray for him. I hang back to sneak in some projects I've been wanting to do for years and tend to rogue chickens and dogs. As always, thanks for being here. T+J

Given how insane the last trip to the boat was, we decided the next trip would need to be Todd on his own. This is a tough trip because doing the 14-hour drive there and then back solo... is tough. I've done it so many times so I can speak from experience specifically. Todd worked on the vintage Christ Craft 427 engines and I worked on the homestead. He took the heat exchanger off our port engine and got some parts for the starboard one. You'll see what we are dealing with on this heat exchanger. We handled a fallen tree, I tended to the garden and animals and helped my mom unpack. Oh... yeah I explain what is happening with my mom and dad. This was a slower weekend than usual. We also prepped for a pretty big meeting which had me at the computer most of the week. Hopefully we can explain more soon! Welcome and thank you for watching.

We are so back friends! While not a recap of life video, this is a "how its going" video and it went a little longer than expected. We are in the middle of trying to move our vintage Chris Craft from the Florida panhandle up river to the Ohio River between Louisville and Cincy. We are also concentrating on our small homestead as we have several things happening at the same time, a garden, chicken care, home projects, and a new greenhouse project. And we fill you in on where we are in the church renovation project at Anthology. If you haven't heard, yes, we bought a church. It's a mammoth project that we plan to turn into a faith space and events venue. Truly humbling and exciting. We are documenting our projects, and lives really, since we plan to look back on this years from now and have something for our family to relish. It's slow going guys... The wheel and tire project was such a huge project and it took far longer than we thought. We learned a lot... including whether or not we will be able to do this ourselves if we get stuck with a flat. We can... and that says a lot given we are two people and each tire weighs in a little over 450lbs. We also change out some leaky breaks... and share our water/grey water tank plan... oh and a look at the new apartment. We are moving out of 970 square feet to 570 Square feet... it's getting interesting. Just another downsize as we move closer to nomadic living.
